Treatment ideas



Content

The main idea of the video is about first experience with love. Throughout the story they will meet each other/ pass by to empathize there an chemistry between them, including accidently bumping into her in the street. The song conforming the expectations of the audience as the title of the song is "Do You Call This Love?" and spectators would expect the answer to be yes, meaning the music video will be about a typical couple in love which conforming the conventions of this genre.

The video will be contradicting, based on narrative, performance with aspects of intertextuality. We will have our artist, Adam Wilson Hunter playing his guitar in the background of random shots to show the spectators who he is, which would help to establish him as an artist as he is new.

At the end of the music video it will have a happy ending of both characters falling in love and realise and understand the meaning about love.

Purpose

This video will conform the conventions and expected narrative of the pop/country music genre. We will connote the stereotypical aspect by having an couple falling in love.

Audience

This will be aimed at both men age women aged 20-30 and also teenagers ages 14-19.
Generaly people who could relate to the song or video, people in the awkward teen stage of discovering "love" and also older people who may have had some experiences when they confuse about love when they young or can relate to the general lyrics.

Representation

The artists costume will represent the characters. White is use to empathize the pureness from the teenage mind, showing they both really unsure what is love, to indicate there innocence, Red costume is use to indicated now they understand about love, by using red to show they both fell in love, red cam also mean passion, energy, love, honor, attraction and more. to indicated their love is strong and no one can spelt them apart.
The colour contrast will represent the conflict and contrast in the different sides of the story.
